That's actually a good thing that this policy is dealing with CP. That way FurAffinity can be a safe place.

I read the whole thing. It's good that they're dealing with pics of minors, but the problem is, they made it sound like drawing short characters (Chibis) and pre evolved pokemon are bad. At least until the update of the journal came in. Still, it made it sound like that and people who have art styles that make characters look like minors or whatnot are in danger of being banned.

People do tend to overreact quickly these days.

All the people I've watched got me believing that shortstacks would be gone, but now this changed my thoughts on the matter.

I took the time to read it, and I say down with CP all the way. Sick to my stomach it makes me.

Uhm, if that was true, then it was already banned for you know, being illegal pretty much everywhere with a functioning police station.

Then why specify it? It quite literally says "Pokemon and Digimon are now actionable", as in yes they absolutely are going to apply it there, which we know because they said outright.

Distrust may also be rooted in the fact that, in January, other changes were announced, which they also assured us was not meant to cast a wide net and "oh it only applies to blah blah blah" only for it to absolutely cast a wide fucking net and result in suspensions up the wazoo, including many artists that had been at F.A. for decades because of things tagged general audience that they had submitted years ago.

So excuse me if maybe I don't trust them anymore.

And even there, you have to leave in the "unless".

And again, it wasn't that long ago that we were assured something would not happen only for precisely that to happen.

So forgive me if I still believe the original statement, and that the amended one may be a great big load of bull.

Sry to break the bubble but some artists already revealed their responses to the tickets. A LOT artwork will dissapear and no, FA already dealt with almost all cub related stuff over a decade ago, you cant even draw sfw of that without risk as many already got banned for nonsexual drawing of cubs which is a problem that been happening for years. The tickets revealed that many will be forced to erase a lot of their artwork or forced to change their style completely. The "Clarifications" don't solve the current problem and neither something to "feel good about".

The best way for people to know if they are in problems because of the new policy is by making a ticket to get a response so they get time before its too late and be caught by surprise by the mods.
