So! That policy update, right?

I've had a lot of thoughts about this, and I just sorta need to get it all off my chest right now before I explode. Just skip to the bottom if you want to avoid the vent rant and just want to get to my socials.

They have the right idea: loli, shota, cub (and whatever else they want to rebrand to, doesn't make a difference, it's still CP) have no place here.

HOWEVER

The execution is god-awful. So what if you draw on-model Pokemon, Digimon, shortstacks, kobolds, halflings, or just about any other character that's under 5', or to be more specific to what they're focusing on for this policy update, feral on-model Pokémon that aren't final-stage (like, y'know, Eevee)?
"Get yeeted lmao."

Like, the overall vagueness of all of it fucking invites people to just yeet art they don't like. Hell, when someone submitted a ticket asking about some of their gallery, they said that Yoshis "from an anatomical standpoint, they would be removed". FUCKING. YOSHIS. Just, please fuck all the way off.
And what happened when someone asked for clarification in the FurAffinity Discord (because the forums were killed off ages ago)? Given vague answers, told to submit a trouble ticket, and timed out for a week.

And given how inconsistent I've heard the mod team can be, this just opens the door for inconsistent rulings. Multiple mods could approve an art, while another could condemn it, and whoopsy fucking daisy, because this one guy thinks your on-model non-final stage Pokémon looks too cutesy to be an adult, so this is obviously a child! Get banned for drawing CP even though it's an adult and you've clarified it's an adult!

Anyway, I'm probably still gonna be posting here until I'm inevitably nuked from orbit for drawing consenting adults that aren't fucking behemoths, because that's the state this hellscape is in right now. I'm not gonna go anywhere for as long as possible, especially considering that this is where most of my interaction comes from.

Oh, you want me gone from the site for a feral drawing I did of a sentient ADULT Pokémon that wasn't a final stage evolution, just like a massive amount of this site? Then fucking pry this account from my cold dead fingers.

Oh and apparently Mew is an embryo now. Forget the fact it's a literal god and the origin and ancestor of all Pokémon! You draw it on model, you go in the pear wiggler for drawing CP!

... At least 95 99.99999% convinced they're making shit up on the fly at this point. ... Wouldn't surprise me, tbh.
