my sona is a mouse
my pokemon sona is a mew
my sona from another setting is also a mouse, and my sona from my dinosaur setting is a tiny dinosaur.
i have 25 kobold oc's of different sizes. NONE of them are supposed to be underage. the youngest kobold i have canonly is 24.
i have characters that are lithe and cute oriented, but NOT underage nor intending to give off that vibe.
i have pokemon ocs based off first stage pokemon and second stage pokemon. they are NOT underage. christ.
the posts mods have been doing are quite alarming. you can find posts on twitter about the stuff mods have been saying, but holy hell, yeah. i think... im going to scale back the content i post in this website. If there is no changes to the rules by the end of june, i'll probably also just delete any artwork featuring my sona.
the fact the administration would think ANY of my sonas counts as childlike is quite frankly the most disgusting insult i've ever gotten. quite frankly revolting. i'll still post as normal on twitter and patreon though, and i will not change the stuff i draw for commissions.
sad thing is this site is genuinely my main source of income. this is where people find my journal for commissions and the main place people know me from. honestly this change has filled me up with so much anxiety and depression that i have a hard time handling it.

The main issue is the site has fallen into disrepair and seems to be mostly abandoned, just waiting to be taken off life support and put to rest.
Kinda wishing both FA and all the others (Weasyl, Sofurry, etc) would get abandoned over this trash, have a taste of the censorship and cancel culture they gladly promoted. I only trust Inkbunny and e621 any more, really hope they hold the lines till the end; Much as I can't stand human porn it annoys me IB had to ban that given the same principle of moral censorship, but knowing they had to give the lunatics something and it's enforced minimally it's at least acceptable.
FN didn't want to censor anything either but cub art risked them getting hit with their local obscenity laws according to their lawyers, so they had to ban it.
What FA is doing is not that though. I don't want to assume what's going on behind the scenes but the optics are definitely not good.
Weasyl has always been small though. I don't think the two are related.
Everything you said is correct and I don't think FA is going to change. If you're interested, Postybirb ( https://www.postybirb.com/ ) can make it easier to upload art multiple places. Hopefully everyone can move their art so it doesn't get lost.

It sucks that a lot of us even have to make these calls but here we are...
It's frustrating.
A lot of these admins seem to want to see children in anything and everything and I think that says a LOT more about them than it does anybody else.

At least others get to see my and others situation over the years: Literally being unable not to break the rules because of how absurd and broad they are, to the point where you can never know for sure what's allowed or not. After yesterday every artist literally requires psychic powers to read the minds of every FA admin and know what they will personally feel looks like a young character, no telepathy powers no guaranteed way for anyone to follow the site rules.
Inkbunny is my main now: Glad you're on there and will be coming back to it! Happily watched; One less artist I'm forced to stay on this hell of a website for... sadly many more to go.
Will only say I'm not going to cry for it when it does, there's no going back to the good times whatever happens: Even a child understands when a dog or cat with a terminal illness needs to be put down because they're suffering and only have a few days to live anyway. It's kinda like that but for an internet service.
There are a lot, a lot of assumptions going on right now and even though I want answers RIGHT NOW, it's pointless to take decisions based on an assumption. I really want us all to focus on urging FA to fully reveal what their internal logic is right now, if any, and start a moderator-backed public discussion thread on the Discord ASAP to actually get feedback from the community FIRST
I want FA to go to that AUP Section 2.7 and damn fix the wording. It's ambiguous and the radio silence is driving people crazy because there's so much at stake.
This is a recurring communication problem too! I implore FA to start being more visible on decisions like these, it will be a lot better and gain trust

If you are unsure about any particular piece in your gallery, feel free to submit a trouble ticket before July 1st, 2023 when the policy goes into effect, and include URLs to the pictures.

FA Staff is being spotty with their communication and it is utterly not helping the situation
So a lot of people are worried that they'll be targeted but the intention is confirmed that they're gonna release a document and open a discussion thread on Discord.
So finally we may see an end in sight.
I may be wrong! FA *could* be taking a shotgun approach and be ready to alienate the shortstack, chibi part of their community, but we cannot assume that YET. We have to give them a chance to see what they say first.
Already banned cub and such which is good enough. They didn't need to get like this and start trying to micromanage the policy to pretty much "anything small and cute"
Like FA does this and all I want is blacklists and search revising. 💀

Besides, i have SO MANY characters besides mew shik that fir in the criteria. I have fennekibs, nidorans, small-proportioned kobolds etc. All of which would fall into this category. And again my sona would as well.

the threads have -actual- screenshots, by this same person no less. i get twitter is shitty, but the screenshots are true, and so are the experience of other artists. please stop undermining my worries. until there's actual guidelines put down to CLARIFY everything, not leaving things vague, i have the right to be worried.

I just worry it won't be accepted without some level of widespread adoption across both artists and the people who interact with them.
