On the current policy update...

*A big plush kitty pops his head out of the toy box and yawns, before scribbling something on a piece of paper in crayon.* I just wanted to put my two cents on the current situation with the policy update.
This was poorly planned out on the mod's part. While I understand the reasoning behind the rule it self having good intentions as a whole, it is clear they did NOT get enough feedback before they decided to impliment it and the fact they have not made it more defined or clear is the reason the site is in such a state of panic. If they had better transparency or communication with their users, this wouldn't have blown up in their faces as bad as it is. Hopefully with the all the negative push back they are receiving they will rethink their current course, but until we get more info, there is nothing I can do but wait and see what happens next. So for now, I have no plans on deleting anything in my gallery unless I am specifically asked to or get more detailed information.
I know this situation sucks, but all we can do is try and support one another and hope for the best.
Normally I try and stay away from journals like this but I figured It wouldn't hurt to get this off my chest.

Then again, we all know that you can keep on reporting artwork of Legoshi with no scar (17), Sora (14-15), MHA characters (mid teens), Lion Guard characters, Jake Long (13-14), the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Between 12-17), Ash Ketchum(10!!), young Spyro, and Ben 10(10!!) and the admins will say "Well it appears they've been drawn as an adult".
Because apparently - even if you give proof that the character in the pic is in fact underage because they can't conduct simple web searches, they can't read it or think "Well they're aged up".
