I may sound like a conspiracy theorist but that's what a psy op does. Everyone affected sees the unaffected as crazy as the new normal takes hold. While I was labeled and abused emotionally blocked and ostracized for choosing this hill to die on warning that this was what was happening as the whole Fandom now is obsessed with marketable purity, moral high ground, and clout, to the point where you can't even draw certain styles without being labeled pedo. Which by the way that word is supposed to have meaning and severity. Now it's literally a meme insult. The equivalent of the word witch in Salem. Same with grooming and other terms. Just like the term cp has been bastardized to lose meaning to the point of now it includes adult characters that are cute.
