- "Minors involved in SFW or non-sexualized interests, such as vore and transformation, are allowed."
This is a complete about face given what I was told in a trouble ticket reply back in January. I was told that vore and underage characters were never allowed. I ALSO got a TT reply back then that said the exact opposite, that vore was fine with underage characters as long as it was non-sexual.
It is evident that the mods back then were not talking to each other and that there was no overarching direction. I am sure they are all volunteers but more consistent moderation would be nice. Now the rule has been "clarified", which is nice since the only clarification we got back then was the ban hammer.
I sent in a polite trouble ticket and I hoping nothing bad happens. I don't need a repeat of the drama from January, where I was put on the naughty step despite having a trouble ticket in asking for clarification on the new rule. I have requested to have my deleted submissions restored, with the exception of a few that probably should not be. Even those require meta knowledge to even be questionable, as the characters appear adult, as when Merida from Brave was in a couple of my pics.
I am hoping for the best. My trust in the FA staff is very low at this point but fingers crossed, maybe I'll at least get to repost a couple of my comics that were nuked, like The Lost Ball, and even the wholesome Leash series where Mdogo the honey badger ends up apologizing to the kid whose dog he ate.

Unless they're saying they have changed that rule and just made it allowed, in which case I still don't trust it but at least it wouldn't be an undeniable lie, yeah it's not true. If they're implying this has always been the case and themes like "SFW vore" were always allowed regardless the age of characters... the staff is explicitly lying to us, I don't even know what more I can say.
And yes: I did contact appeals about it. The only thing that happened was being struck with a second suspension during that time, in its case for making a banal political joke in 3D for which I was accused of breaking a rule completely unrelated to its content; I had to contact appeals for that one and eventually they just reduced the suspension without reinstating anything. To me this says appeals didn't consider they made a mistake when they removed even the submission they just said in this statement was allowed.
It was about people reporting my sfw vore not mature or adult tagged.
They used to act against me but I argued that vore is no sexual fetish, only if you have the fetish for it. Just like paws are no fetish only if you have it.
There is vore in any cartoon, in any video game. It's just a fetish NOT a sexual fetish. (yes there is a difference)
While I of course have vore as a sexual fetish this can't be said for everyone. There are many SFW vore artists out there.
I still need to note that I don't need and want vore art with minors, but yeah. Interesting in general.

I don't want minors in vore, as this goes to far and is not needed in any way.
All I'm saying is that vore can be a non sexual fetish, but with minors it is going to far.
Like, blanket ban minors or don't guys... but don't make double standards. Because this is exactly the sort of problem that creates.
I'm thinking it's time they went the way of No Man's Sky devs and just shut up for a while lol. It's obvious they're wading into the middle of like 6 debates and nobody's gonna be happy with everything they do. Trying to placate people isn't going to work.
One of the things I dislike is if someone leaves the site. The site can remove your work, from your gallery, that you did for the person.
(And if you don't have a way to contact the person, too bad.)
I don't want us to split into a million communities. I think that is why FA has been so resistant despite the drama, a sort of hub of furriness. Now we miss art of our artists because we didn't notice they stopped posting somewhere. A central "Post Any Where Syndicate", where we describe the format of posts, provide tooling, and a basic level of hosting. Anyone could then tap into the PAWS torrent format, and use them. No one would decide "who gets banned today" and "this is against our terms". Everyone would have to decide to stop hosting. Torrents also have a lot of tools built already, its a mature framework, and the clients for it are numerous.
You'd think the staff of a furry-themed website out of all people would be aware of that.
Anything can get a person's jimmies off. But that's the problem of the person getting their jimmies off, not the person who made whatever they're looking at.
It's not that complicated, and shame on you for pretending otherwise.
I'm going to wait a little longer to make sure things are settled, and then I'm going to start bringing some of my stories with kid prey over from Eka's to here.
