Too Short For FA, Leaving July 1st
So yeah. I wanted to wait until I heard back from someone on the support ticket I filed. Which was Friday afternoon, and I still haven't heard back from anyone. I've seen others with subject matter and characters close enough to mine being told that they're getting the axe so I think I should just take that as a sign. I am closing my queue to further commissions at this time. Once I finish the work I have slated I will be moving on. Where? I'm not sure yet. After FA, Twitter is the place I am most active but I loathe the idea of making that my primary platform. Twitter is awful for artists. I have accounts on Weasyl and Furry Network but I haven't touched them in years. Maybe it's time to check back in?
I am open to other site/application suggestions as well! I'm hoping to find something that will suit my needs better than FA ever has. This is an opportunity. Not a tragedy.
So what does this mean for my gallery? I will be deleting SOME of it at the end of June. Namely, anything remotely kinky involving Avery, Flint, Gimpy/Gimp Imps, Pokemon/Digimon or other similarly proportioned characters. My goal with this is to keep the rest of my gallery visible and avoid an outright ban. I've spent a lot of time here building up this page with you guys and that means more to me than some bitter jab at the current administration. If you still want to be able to view these pieces I would recommend going through my gallery and saving them before June 30th, because that's when I'm planning on cleaning house. If you have commissioned me for such a piece and have reposted it to your own gallery, this new policy might affect you as well and I would encourage you to file your own support ticket to ask about it if you don't want to delete it outright.
I will keep you all updated if the situation changes, but I don't expect it to. And even if it does, my trust in this site/its administration, which was already tenuous to begin with, has been sufficiently shaken to the point that my future here no longer feels secure. I deserve better than this. And frankly, so do you.
Here's a few links to spots where you will definitely be able to reach me and see my work, and I will make another journal once I have found another actual gallery site that suits my needs:

FA+

SoFurry might though, the owner is a big tech person, and they are working on an update.
Oh well, good luck!
In any case, it's such a rough ground, your art and characters are all very clearly adults, and not even in the "1000 year old child" kind of way, like, they don't masquerade as kids. The dumb part is this policy has been around for a long time but the whole way they're going about saying "child pokemon can't be sexualized" is just the worst way. Buh.
Hope to keep following you, but there's always the Discord too.
SoFurry is another option.
The only reason is so slow is because FA being the "king" of furry art sites so, take that as you wish ^^
As for Furrynetwork, is not very user friendly and I only know one or two people who ise it reguarly without getting relevant traction ^^;
Also, one platform I'd reccomend is Itaku.
And I've had multiple recommendations for Itaku, will be looking into that one.
I currently use FA, DA, Weasyl, Newgrounds, Twitter, Tumblr, Telegram and Pillowfort. So if FA's thing is going to hit shortstack toons (I don't explicitly post NSFW, but it seems like fetish art might be hit too), I still crosspost all the same things on the other sites =).
I'm MOST active on FA though and I'm looking to move those eggs to somewhere else, instead of loading them into the baskets I already have.
Don't have LinkTree, I'll have to look into that one. I've also heard about Posty Birb, which can be used to make managing multiple platforms easier?
Newgrounds is an odd recommendation, not one I would have thought of. I've been hearing good things though? I DO have a Weasyl account which has fallen to the wayside due to lack of traffic. Will be checking into there again as well.
Newgrounds, Weasyl, DA and Telegram are great cause they're the only ones that I've listed that are able to support my full-resolution artwork (which is >8K resolution). FA, Tumblr, Twitter and Pillowfort require me to have a scaled down version to submit, lol. So I note this on my LinkTree, which sites have my full-resolution artwork for those that want the best quality.
PostyBirb makes the activity of crossposting easier from what I understand, though I don't personally use it out of security concerns. I've seen several people use it, but I couldn't say how user-friendly it is and such. My concern with the security regarding it is that you have to give it all your passwords, so it has the authentication to log in on all these profles and post the same thing. That was too much of a security risk for me, so I decided I'd rather manually post things myself on these sites when I submit stuff. It does take time, like 20 mins or so formatting the post for all these sites proper, but I don't mind; I don't submit that often anyway, haha.
I really hope this site gets new management...
Between all other sites (and I agree with making Twitter your main art gallery being a bad idea since it's... not made for that.), there's InkBunny, and ok, I get it, it gets shat on often for hosting what the FurAffinity staff pretends to be against, but unlike FurAffinity, it has a working block function and blacklist.
And considering what the FurAffinity staff is about to do and I might risk a ban... one can be desperate. But we'll see.
Other sites would be Itaku and Mastodon.
DeviantAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH no.
Actually nevermind, I'll save you the trouble and block you.
I've enjoyed working with you in the past and hope to continue to do so in the future, if you do plan on moving to another site, let me know so I can follow you there. I'm following you on twitter, but I dislike twitter. It is not a great art hosting site.
I'm following you on Twitter at the moment, but where ever you decide to go I'll easily follow! I love what you do, and I would love to get art by you one day! Fucking hate what FA was doing, and it is just infuriating what is happening to folks
Those with a negative reputation tend to have the most freedom, whereas those with a positive reputation often "cleanse and sterilize" what they personally deem bad (removing what they don't like whilst ensuring their niche kinks and interests remain untouched) on behalf of the whole community.
I would love to make some recommendations but every platform has it's pros and certainly it's cons.
Overall, no matter what you choice you make, I truly believe this to be something that will work out for the best. Your current audience will follow and you'll create a new one along the way.
You are an amazing artist and you will thrive despite this, less than ideal, situation.
Best of luck and I'll see you on the flip side.
Will find a way though!
I still have received no response to my own support ticket but an artist with a situation very similar to mine has been told they'll be in breach of the new policy. So instead of twiddling my thumbs for however long they decide to keep me waiting, I'm choosing to act.
I love that page and it deserves more attention from Furries
