Personally I'm moving to Inkbunny but I can understand the stigma it has, I just don't know where else to go because like a lot of people I kinda hate Twitter and it's a pain in the ass to find art on it.

The main issue is that the administration is currently absent. One person is maintaining the github repository. I'm sure that when they notice a massive influx of users they'll start thinking about expanding the admin team again.

Ahh, that explains why it's so quiet staff-wise. To be fair, I haven't really seem any issues for a while there either.

I don't think I've ever heard Weasyl staff doing anything unreasonable with their moderation, honestly, even when the staff team was more active. I consider it a fairly dependable place to be.

The one thing I'll say about Weasyl is that you need to be extra verified to be able to post there. Essentially someone needs to be linked to your profile so they can vouch for you. It's a measure to keep Spambots off the site. I don't know how effective it is.

Without verification you can still edit your profile, enable 2FA, follow people and favourite art though

If you need a vouch like Looney said, feel free to just share a link to your page and I'd be happy to vouch your profile.

Would very much recommend against DeviantArt for moral reasons. According to their terms of service, if you share art there, you give any third party full permission to resell your art and not give you anything for it. All they need is the artists ***OR*** DeviantArt's permission.

I can understand that. I'm not gonna shit on you for whatever site you wanna use. And *generally* fetish stuff, if that is what you draw, isn't as susceptible to people stealing it. I just know for a fact many Steven Universe fan artists have had their stuff stolen by Hot Topic and sold without getting anything. I just wanna spread the info that it's possible.

The new version of the update seems like It makes almost all of your stuff safe aside from one or two anal Vore pieces. Still sucks but I don’t think its as bad as people feared (anymore… and it’s still not great) they pointed to vore as safe though it probably doesn’t extend to non oral vore when involving anything that could be called childlike.

I get what you're saying here, but the problem is as you said in your first sentence, ALMOST all of my stuff is safe. I don't draw kids. I just draw ferals but the fact that they can be perceived as children by one mod one day, and not by another another day is concerning to me. I've seen people get their art removed because it just HAS pokemon or digimon in it after this rule went out. I know they backpedaled a bit and removed pokemon and digimon from that ruleset but this whole thing has caused me some great stress and if the rules can flip flop like this just because of a vocal minority on twitter i don't feel my art is safe here.

Weasyl is sort of a ghost town and very few people even see your art, but I heard that it's very well balanced in terms of policy~
Eka's portal would absolutely love you and your adorable art style~
Twitter is okay, but it's connected to the rest of the world, and it can be annoying dealing with them commenting and saying whatever about your art.

Anywhere but Inkbunny, you'll have to deal with so many creeps there.

Inkbunny is the 2nd place in online traffic on the furry fandom

FA is gonna crumble soon because of the new rules and I think the site is going to be less supported by anyone now with people now leaving out of fear of getting suspended, had to delete some art, and banned.

Waiting for dragoneer to realize how bad his people are fucking up here, but that may be a while if at all
