Final post on this stupid policy update

I know over a dozen different artists who have openly stated they are either quitting the website because of this change or may have to do so in the future. I consider some of those artists to be very close friends of mine. To say I am unhappy to see my friends affected like that is such a massive understatement. So I'll just give you the censored version of my thoughts.
Frankly, I'm done. There are still artists here who want to keep posting and that's the only reason I'm not straight up yeeting this account into the sky. But I myself am no longer posting anything I commission or write to this website. Even if they by some miracle go back on this, it's too late. I'm not going to be forgiving when it's caused so much strife for people I care about.
Sadly, I have no alternatives. And that's probably what hurts me the most about it. There's really nowhere else like FA for me to go. DA? Don't make me laugh. Twitter? Musk-ridden hellscape. Tumblr? lol, lmao.
A lot of the people I've met and befriended due to this website I could likely attribute to my mental health rapidly recovering. I was in a terrible, terrible state from 2020 and 2021. Even after that year ended it didn't feel like I was getting better. But I was, and I attribute a large part of that thanks to the people I've befriended here.
So thanks for ruining this place that I consider having possibly saved my life. I have nothing but very minced words for the people behind this policy change and even then I won't go into detail because I don't want to be that kind of person. I want to be better than that like I said I would long ago.
