Still Enjoying the Absence

Hello all, followers and friends. I hope your Spring is going well so far.
I haven't really posted much stuff on my account in recent months; and so..... I took some steps this week to change some of that; and made a few new postings on here, for whatever they're worth. ☺
I rarely post any of my "real artwork" on this account (still); and I usually do this for good reasons I think.... seeing that I'm rather fearful of my artwork being copied, or plagerized, (or even stolen) and used by somebody else.
And it's for these reasons I generally don't make these kinds of postings on here.
But on occasion..... I will post some of this stuff, like I did this week. ☺ If for anything, it may help me get over some of my anxieties about posting my artwork on here eventually...... who knows?
Anyway...... you might notice that my gallery is a bit "slimmed down" these days also...... (or maybe you don't, who knows). ☺ But I went ahead and did what I intended to do for some time now, and I purged all of my older postings that were outdated, and largely dormant..... (some of them were nearly ten years old).
And frankly, this was also done because: one or two jerks out there (probably from the Forums, I suspect) went ahead and flagged all of my postings recently, (or so they claimed).... claiming that they're all "inappropriate" and possible "rule violations".
And so, to ensure that my profile postings are firmly within the rules I removed a lot of my older stuff for those reasons as well.
But seeing that I intended to streamline my older postings anyway, I wasn't really peeved about it..... rather - surprised, that someone would take issue with a three-year-old posting to begin with. ☺
Eh.... from my perspective, I honestly don't see how some of the "line colorings" I was doing (to those who remember them) was necessarily a "rule violation" per say; seeing that (in my mind) they all fell within what the rules call: "a derivative work"....... seeing that the lines I used were all open sourced.
But I figure it's better to be safe than sorry.
I'll miss many of them from being on my page here though; as there were many of them that were quirky, and included a lot of "semi-personal" issues and characteristics that were going on in my life; that I enjoyed sharing with some friends on here, and reminiscing about once and a while.
But, I don't want to give some of these critics and jerks out there any further ammunition either..... which would allow them to give me any further troubles on my own page. ☺
Anyways..... I wanted to extend some warm greetings to you all today as well, and give you my regards, for whatever it's worth.
I hope your lives are going well these days..... and if they aren't, I hope things pick up for you soon.
On a personal level, I'm still enjoying my absence from most "social media" outlets these days; and as I mentioned in my last journal here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10481535 I may make this a more permanent thing for myself, and just focus more on the things, places, activities, and people that I most enjoy.
My hiatus has gone on for nearly six months now, and I gotta say I still don't really miss all that much of it.
And given the "unsettling incidents" one may experience, (like I had this past week with some other users concerning my content), it just re-affirms to me that staying away from these places can be a wise thing to do, for some of us..... when we're simply trying to enjoy ourselves, and not be bothered with petty social media dramas. ☺
