We interrupt your regularly scheduled program for the following announcement... I hate to say this, but after reading the new upload policy and all the updates (as of 5/24), I can honestly say that as vague as the policy is, no one on this site is safe. All someone has to do is to go through a user's galleries, file trouble tickets for everything image that they feel fall under the new policy and BAM! that user, possibly you, me or anyone is perma-banned.
I have stated many times in the past (and have earned suspensions for what I said) that that the upload policy should be be clear and solid and that there should be a clear and solid TOS for admins to abide by when it comes to reviewing trouble tickets, warning users before suspending or banning them.
Getting rid of the forums and going to discord where you can ban and discord (pun intended) and locking journals over vague rules only cements to users that you know what was done was not in the best interest of users.
I have to agree with others who have said that this community has becoming intolerant of any art style that doesn't fit with the ideal style. We need to return to being tolerant of different styles, themes, fetishes etc., welcoming new artists and accepting that everyone is different. We have become an intolerant, hateful community that has look for things to be offended at.
I came to FA when F2F died just over 17 years ago on 5/26/2006, back then the community was open, loving, caring and accepting people no matter what and who they were. I saw FA as a central meeting ground that helped new artists, writers, musicians and the like get recognized and grow.
I would love to see FA be better than it is now, possibly going back to the days of yore, but sadly that may not happen. All I can do is just watch and see what theme/fetish goes on the chopping block. The site is slowly becoming DA, Tumbler, Twitter, Live Journal and MySpace and fall among other great and now dead sites such as Yerf, Ekas Portal etc.[/i][/b]

Not to mention there are so many people rl, who literally have lithe, petite and younger looking body types, and even medical conditions.... talk about body shaming right?

Some have their heart in the right place, sure, but it feels more and more like that group are in the minority versus those who want to use the "protect the children" line for far more malicious intent.
