I’m actually rather impressed, I was a bit skeptical about how good it would be given marvel’s track record as of late, but man they did a fantastic job. Rocket’s backstory was also unexpectedly well done and compelling. The villain was kind of mustache twirlingly evil, but that’s a good thing, not every antagonist needs layers, sometimes just being a sociopath with a god complex makes for great cinema.

9.9/out of 10 had to deduct a fraction of a point for the mutant experiments not being buff enough 🤣
