More Bitching about Policy Change

Okay so 3 things have been bugging the everliving shit out of me because these rules are so fucking vague
They say chibi is okay... as long as they have adult bodies. Do... do you assholes even know what a chibi is? What the FUCK does a chibi with adult proportions look like? You mean just slap some titties on it? Because you also said flat chested characters are fine, but if a person has to draw titties on a chibi that's not exactly saying flat chests are fine. Seriously, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Second. What about characters like Spyro, Animal Crossing characters, and Aggretsuko, which all have "child like proportions"? You say this rule has always been here and this only adds pokemon and digimon to the rule, which is bullshit because there are plenty of images that were fine here before that are suddenly not okay because they're too childlike. Don't fucking lie, you're cracking down on a LOT more than pokemon and digimon and you're NOT being clear about ANYTHING.
Thirdly, they say they won't tolerate harassment but they completely fail to see what exactly is going to happen here. They are assuming that the people being reported are not going to have any issues with their art, so yeah fucking good for those people. Those aren't the people we're concerned about. This is going to be a witch hunt against anything that remotely looks childlike, with cute style artists and pokemon and digimon artists being the main target. They're going to go after artists who DO have art that falls under this category and they're going to essentially be bullied off the website.
How are they not aware that this is what's going to happen? How are they so fucking tone deaf that they don't realize how many people they are shunning off the site for simply having a certain style in how they draw?
I hate everything about this. Rules shouldn't be so vague that people are going to break them without even realizing it.

FA+

Chibi with adult proportions is basically showcased in Aggretsuko.
I've already explained it elsewhere,
but the whole thing has just been performative.
There was no loophole to begin with.
Literally nothing in the rules has changed.
They already had created a rule to protect people who had chibi styles,
and more specifically, to allow people who have Digimon/Pokemon characters have separate ages from their forms.
Whoever made the announcement got extremely over their head about what they had actually changed,
because there was no loophole being abused here.
What actually was going on was popular artists were posting explicit art to Inkbunny and labeling the characters a cub,
then posted the same pictures to FA without the tags.
Under the rules, this is reportable, because it counts as proof of an artist lying about a character being underage.
The issue was mods were actively using the Pokemon/Digimon rule to ignore the proof of underaged characters.
There was no loophole. They were doing it on purpose.
Basically, there didn't need to actually be an update.
Like I said, literally nothing has been changed.
All they had to do was not make an update at all and make internal decisions to stop being corrupt.
so they're purposefully confusing a lot of people.
The current update even has the gall to still link people to the Discord (crossing it out) where they purposefully locked the proper thread for discussion down, and are encouraging the literal children to harass anyone that comes in to discuss the rule changes in general chat.
now what is a fantasy creature? per definition a fantasy creature is and i quote:
"A fantasy creature is an imagined being, usually for storytelling."
so that term covers basicly evrything from pokemon to digimon, dwarfs, kobolds, hobbits, unicorns, griffons, elves, fairies, vampires, werewolves, dragons, (basicly the entire D&D catalogue), cartoon characters in general, videogame characters, just anything you can imagine is a fantasy creature, including your own fursona
and since most cartoon characters have an overdrawn "scheme of childlike characteristics" almost evry kind of fanart is now fair game for the mods to ban, delete, or whatever else they please
but I was sure "fantasy creatures" was already there.
Neither Pokemon or Digimon were every mentioned in the AUP, it was something you had to ask the mods about.
The same went for things like vore and pregnancy not being sexual. It's why so many people didn't know about it.
then posted the same pictures to FA without the tags.
This part seems to sorta conflict the posts about the rule update, though. They make it very clear that what a character looks like, and what a character's age actually is, are two different things. And only one is important, what it looks like as a stand-alone. That's why they keep referencing "1000 year old loli" trope. So it wouldn't have to be tagged cub or not be allowed here if it was breaking the rules.
They thought that's what they were changing and purposefully used inflammatory language to upset people.
If you get into the Discord, you'll actually meet the "head of Minor Protective Services" and immediately know they were the one responsible for the wording. They very clearly have a vendetta against people with certain styles.
They're the same person floundering with all of the clarifications as well.
They literally said so and people have recorded it.
To top it off, they literally made it a bannable offense to bring it up in the Discord!
because, guess what
it's full of children.
It's might as well be a freaking day care in there, it's absolutely embarrassing.
It's more welcoming for taboo types of art. But, unfortunately, it's pretty understandable why people /don't/ want to be on there. :/
