June 2023 Update: Price increase and Unemployed

Hello everyone,
So a lot has happened in the past weeks...
Yet I'll start with the good stuff before I get to recent events.
The trip to Las Vegas was amazing. We had a bit of an issue with the luggage for the first night, but my family and I went on the Slotzilla. Videos and all! (No, I am not sharing those here.) Then we went to the Sick New World Music Festival and boy was it packed! We got VIP tickets thanks to our oldest brother who paid for the whole thing. Though we couldn't find much shade and I had never been in a desert climate before. 7 hours of rocking to great classic bands we grew up listening to 20 years ago. A lot of those songs took me back and I've never been at a festival like this before. We couldn't stay for the late main attraction because we started to get heat stroke along with migraines. Chugging 8 cans of Liquid Death wasn't enough for this packed event. While heading back to our hotel, a family choice of Excalibur. I finally got to see the Tournament of Kings, and I picked the Dragon seats. The show was amazing and we even won the cheering contest. I got a little carried away. ^^;
We still chilled and partied at a lounge nearby after the show. Right before I was about to crash, I get pulled over by this hot mature woman asking me to dance. I had a few too many drinks and didn't say no. Yet we walked over to the main area and just had a blast. Turns out she was staying there at a timeshare with children and grandkids! She looked like the youngest person there or around my age!
Yet all good things came to an end after browsing around and getting a haircut at a spa. We boarded our flight and returned home. I got another grandmother's number while we talked the entire 1-hour flight back. Yet these women were married and I respected that, it was just great company. I think it was mostly due to the silver-grey hair and beard I had going on.
Now for the bad stuff; I am now unemployed and lost my current day job.
I am not broke due to the great people supporting my professional Dungeon Master part-time work. Yet my main taxable income was due to this recent day job.
During my absence, our crew was lacking and making mistakes. Enough so, that our General Manager called up a meeting to tell us we won't be getting a raise and we've losing food costs. I will not name the place for my own concerns or start social media issues with the company. I generally still like the food yet the staff was not my best pick to work with. However, the discrimination and hostile work environment didn't help in this case. It's barely the size of a bathroom to work in the kitchen. One senior female worker for five months has been very hostile towards me. I do my best to work and get the list done. Yet it's difficult when someone is constantly hiding the list or degrading you. I even took up extra dish shifts to help and got extra money for that. This past Wednesday however, did not go as I hoped.
I recently got a new car thanks to my wonderful mom looking in Texas. I lost my previous vehicle last year due to my blacking out. Mainly from a 9-hour shift working at this place during training. Other facts took place but mainly I was exhausted and not sleeping right. I had to Uber/Lyft to this job and take out a huge chunk of my main income.
That day, I got up early and this senior worker comes in an hour late. I am not paying attention to her and just doing my job. We were even struggling because the new guy we hired wasn't even trained. Which was mostly the senior's responsibility and forced to use a machine that barely work to cut produce. I was working on a task nobody wanted to do, and when the other dishwasher came up to me with a question. This senior worker told me to shut the fuck up and blew up in my face for no reason. She ranted about how I was slow and a retard. That was better off working in the dish area. I did nothing to this woman nor did I talk to her. Mainly Bipolar, as she hugs certain people and is a loudmouth. Yet she praises me to get fired or to stay away from her. After 5 months of this abuse in the kitchen, I kept my mouth shut. I tried to apologize yet she blew it off and repeated the same shit every time we work. I turned to her and called her out for that remark, and she faced me ready to fight. I realized then it wasn't worth it. I told the others in the kitchen I was done for the day. I walked out of the kitchen and spoke to my team leader, then waited outside for my GM.
I waited 3 hours for her to show up but nothing. I went back inside when the others were gone and spoke to my team leader again. Only to be told the issue will be talked about tomorrow. I get a call and my GM is giving me bullshit and lies. So I called cooperate the following hour and returned hope. I reported everything.
The next day on my day off, I am told that I walked out on them, which I didn't technically. I was protesting against the abuse and requested that she spoke with the senior. She said she didn't and expected me to come back tomorrow to continue my shift. I decided not to come back so long as she was in that kitchen.
The pay was decent but it was a horrible place to work. I couldn't do my job and none of the management would even bother to take us both in to talk. I would have gone back even for an apology. Yet it never happened and now I am looking for work. I planned to put my two weeks in by June anyway, but this push showed me I wasn't wanted nor did they care.
I should be okay for this month yet I will be raising prices on commissions due to inflation. I am working on collaborations with other artists just for the week during my applications. Now that I have a car, it will be much easier. If anyone is interested I have a few pay-to-play sessions starting up this next week!
