PSA: Don't click away the DISCORD name-change request!
So discord wants to get rid of the #1234 postfixes in all usernames: https://discord.com/blog/usernames
They roll that out in waves, so not everyone gets notified at the same time.
However APPARENTLY if you click away the request too often, the account gets disabled and cannot even be reactivated?!
One person claims to have that happened to at least. Might be true, might not be.
I'd still recommend to be on the safe side.
You can change again later!
So just take the proposed name with is your original just without the "#" in-between.

How more secure? The names are definitely not harder to guess now.
Well, I surely do not mind the change or option to have names without that postfix. It was a strange concept since the beginning. However disabling accounts because of this seems very silly. Just rename automatically into the version without the hashtag if you database really is supposed to not have any of the old names in anymore.
Guess both approaches have advantages and disadvantages.
