Is have suggestions and ideas but I'm a big ol' pervert.

Well I mean! This account *is* meant to help me get used to/more comfortable with drawing NSFW things! I would draw things like that more often if I had ideas, but admittedly I'm not creative enough in that regard.

Besides! There's no harm in suggestions, even if I may not do them for whatever reason. I wouldn't ask if I weren't interested in at least hearing you out :3

Honestly, start with some basic nude and pose studies, as well as gender swaps/alternatives of your favorite characters to get a feel for different body types. Start small like that, tinker with NSFW anatomy. Also, you can never go wrong with implication. No need to explain WHY someone's face and chest are sticky; the aftermath as an implication can be a powerful visual tool. Then you can do milder, fun stuff, maybe get some guest characters for lewd but softer fun (snuggling, kissing, fondling). It's a lot like how I write; warm up to ideas gradually.

I don't know how well I'll be able to do most of those things with how inexperienced art-wise I am with smutty art but having that solid outline is actually extremely helpful. My suggestion: Look for artists who draw "soft" characters like your own, and check out how they handle anatomy and NSFW content. I've got a friend,  Ninjacharles, who does a lot of soft ladies, with one of my favorites being one I've written a ton of stuff for, Charlotte. There's also  Mcnasty, who I heavily suggest if you want plump/soft bodies to study.

Oh! Well already I'm finding myself inspired! I can't believe I never thought of some of these ideas before. I'm not sure my skill level is quite high enough to come close to any of these artist's levels but the idea of at least trying to come close with my own characters and ships I have with my husband sounds fun to at least try!

Ehhh, it's mostly selfish reasons. I like your art, you have cute characters, and someday I'd like to see some fun stuff with some of my folks. But nah, seriously, you've got potential, and I like to help.

Well, I respect your transparency in any case! And really do appreciate your help heh. I'm gonna do my best to at least practice sometime soon. I've been meaning to do that anyway, anyhow, even if I didn't quite have concrete ideas until asking for suggestions.

Now if I can just find the time and the character I wanna try things out with lol

Who's your favorite character, overall?

That's a tough ask! I favor all of them in one way or another. Sometimes my favorite shifts with the wind, and sometimes I draw one character a hundred times in a row then stop for a year.

The one I've dedicated the most time to developmentally? Easily Berry. But also Kai.
The ones I'm most attracted to visually? Sama... Emily... and a couple of the lesser drawn characters that I have. (Like Cloudy Sapphire and Alunastiel)

But picking a favorite over all is pretty well impossible. Which is kinda part of why I poked about in this journal for inspiration. Having someone go "I wanna see x character of yours" would certainly stoke the artistic flame.

Why not do a pic of two different ones; one you have developed the most (Let's say Kai?), and one of the rarer ones you're more interested in (Maybe Emily, or Sapphire?), a compare/contrast NSFW piece, showing them both off. If they know each other, conceptually, could just be a contest to see who people like to see more, as a sort of conceit for the piece. I tend to put a lot of thought into any work of my own, so I know it might not be the best for others to work with.

Ohh.. That actually sounds like a lot of fun to try! Just like... Both characters flaunting what they have in the same piece? I love the concept of it being a low-key contest. I might be able to work with that idea :D thank you for the suggestion!
