I got a lot on my plate atm but maybe in a month or two I'll get around to making some historical/scifi rules as well as some different tfs. I am thinking letting the historical/call of cthulhu ripoff center around becoming a tentacle-penis-monster would be neat, and then the scifi variation will maybe feature robotification or a grab bag of different possible monsters (???)
Sanity mechanics would also be neat to add maybe? At least for anything eldritch-y. I'm ambivalent because I don't want two 'hp counters' 'cuz that's annoying but you know.

It's very healthy to practice taking breaks and lowering the pressure on yourself. :3 Burnout can last months.

OP
I appreciate it! I do enjoy working on things, it gives me purpose. But my main issue is that I get 'bored' easily, maybe it's some kinda ADHD-esque thing. Anything super long makes my brain strain to stay focused on it. I am not sure what burnout feels/looks like, because my closest equivalent is just switching to working on something else for a few months. Usually I can manage to alternate from writing to game stuff to vice versa. It's kinda hard to switch modes but it sorta helps, in a way? You chip away at tasks in 'robot mode' while accumulating ideas to be creative with, then write the ideas and then switch to chippy-robot-mode when you're out of ideas that strike your immediate fancy.
