It's been over a month since I sent my Trouble Ticket in Day 1 of the announcement and mods haven't gotten back to me. So fuck it. I'm not takin' anything down. I know what my characters are, and they definitely aren't minors. I know mods have run up to other artists and wrongfully claimed their characters/artwork are minors/adjacent, but no one agrees with that sentiment.
I put too much time and effort into writing my characters and world-building to have someone show up and tell ME that I'm wrong about my own characters and that I've been posting children. How fucking insulting is that? It hasn't happened to me yet, but I won't be surprised when it does.

I don't know if FA mods do yet, but from the way I've seen them go after other people's characters and art...I don't have high hopes.
Seriously, we've had this conversation, and covered precisely this topic with said conversation, hundreds of times in the past. So as far as I'm concerned, the only possible explanation for why they have decided to proceed anyway is that the ensuing shit-storm is exactly what they wanted to happen.
"These changes were well-received".
One caution though about using Weebly; that website is blocked by many, many corporations and universities (including the university I work at). Weebly allows the open creation of just about anything, so it is constantly used by phishing schemes, hence why most places block access to it.
I'll see if people have issues going forward.
