Theres gotta be a good ratio of frosting to bread or its just not cake. I fall in the more the better camp when it comes to frosting personally. I like each bite to be at least, like 1/3 frosting minimum.

if it's like in the summer and i'm doing a layer round cake for someone's birthday, i have to stiffen the frosting a bit but in turn it shreds the cake up if i'm not careful

otherwise it just doesn't sit right, gets uneven, it's like 90% humid outside and everyone's melting and here's this bitch trying to keep a cake together

We had a local cake shop and their specialty for a good few years was a lemon and lime cheesecake, the stuff I swear to Christ must have had crack in it, you could easily eat a full cake by yourself not a word of a lie, but a year a so they discontinued it, now my jam is the dark forest cherry gateau.
