Game giveaway slight extension, and a brief talk.

General
Heya, so it's been a month now since the rule changes, and about 5 days since galleries have required to be cleaned. Mines not been affected at all, I've had no notices or anything, so I think my stuff is good? I'm being a bit careful still with what to post, but it looks like it might still be ok to post here. So I will continue to do so, I've been trial running some Inkbunny postings as well, they've been doing ok so I'll try to dual post between the two places. Twitter... well Twitter's on fire, so that might not be the best place at the moment, it's sorta waiting to see which of Twitter, Threads or BlueSky is going to end up on top with that at the moment. I added a Weasyl account now, I'll try to post there to, we'll see how it goes.
Sorta been a bit overwhelmed with life a bit in general over the last month, trying to get things done and sorted on time, I think the added heat of summer has not helped to this. I have all the plans laid out but never the time (Or maybe more specifically the focus) to get them though, I will try though, so thanks for keeping up in the process.
Speaking off, the gift giveaway has sorta not been going great because of all the FA weirdness, I'm extending it one last time till saturday then declaring winners at that point. Remember to post your answers here for that.

Thanks for all your readings, I'll speak to you all again hopefully on Saturday.

FA+

The 1st of July was the day the new policy came into effect, not the day everything would happen. Truth be told, it can take time before they catch onto people like you and me. Could take weeks, months, maybe even a few years. In fact it's possible it might only happen if you get reported.
You might think that everything should be fine if it really takes getting reported, but the matter of fact is that the rules state certain things are now no longer accepted. So if you do get reported, you may not be able to fight back.
Also, I don't think FA would necessarily have a dedicated team or staff member that would go through every artist's page and/or artwork and look for anything that would violate those rules, and if there were then it'd take a long time to go through everything (which could be part of the reason why they have the 'report' option).
I (and probably you too) have probably posted things that might already go against pre-existing rules, but it just hasn't yet caught up (same with DA). That's fine until some "hero" goes around reporting a whole bunch of things and artists (like what UndertaleFan2000 did in 2017).
But then again, you can never be too careful. Whether or not you want to keep posting what you'd usually post on FA is entirely up to you, though it does come with some risks.
Twitter:
As with Twitter, well, last time I looked I noticed that individual posts are publicly visible again, but not the main profile pages (I know this would all sound meaningless to someone's who's only ever used sites while signed in to the point they think it's as normal as having a bum). Though the whole daily tweet read limit's ridiculous. About 600, imagine signing in for the first time in a fortnight, spend 2 hours going through the 'following' page trying to see every post from since you last signed in, and then be stopped dead in the tracks by a notice saying you'd reached the limit.
Oh, speaking of how often you sign in, the 30 day limit. Sign in every 30 days at least or have your account deleted (I was personally hoping to abandon it someday so the art would stay up when I put up the hat, now I can't).
When you take into account of both the tweet limit and 30 day limit, it seems as though Musk wants us to stay, get addicted, use it everyday, and maybe, just maybe, never sign out ever again (oh, and did someone say money?). And I'm not happy about it.
But if you think what's happening with Twitter is bad, just wait until you see this (do NOT let the title or duration put you off): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feeLrcJpc1Y
(sorry for the long comment)
