Brokul's adventure is continuing in A Study in Muscle's Part 2: Might and Muscle! As mentioned previously, I've gotten a script written out ahead of time, which is a double-edged sword for me: I like having everything planned out in advance and it means I can work on whatever part of the comic I want to whenever I want, suiting my mood and creativity. On the other hand, I'm pretty spontaneous, and not being able to spontaneously deviate too much because of continuity kinda saps a bit of my interest from time to time. So, as I work intermittently on this comic, I'm doing a much smaller comic on the side: Arkhan's Adventure!

Arkhan, the bodybuilding Cleric whom Brokul bumped into once, is going to find his aloof and inexperienced-self a bit overwhelmed, but will meet a fairly helpful musclebound fellow or two and learn a bit more about himself as he leaves his home for the first time and sees the larger world! I've already finished roughly one-third of the comic, I'm going to wait until I'm finished with it before pushing it out daily. A little experiment in seeing how I feel releasing completed projects rather than having multi-month gaps in-between uploading pages. Especially because...

Seeing the most recent Recreation Day comic page was published 10 months ago made me John Cena midi face at my computer for several minutes. Either during or after Arkhan's Adventure, I swear I'm going to finish it. There was a bit of a shader issue, as I work between my laptop and desktop throughout the day, and there were some gamma-related rendering problems I needed to sort through. Trying to maintain consistency from page to page has been a challenge because of that, and I'd like my stuff to at least be consistent. Bronx's bigger mission is still on my to-do list, probably after Brokul's adventure.

Nothing new here, still have Ganzorig's next little thing planned out, but it's definitely shelved until I knock out some of these other comics aside.

After 4 years of doing one single Star Wars day event per year, I've decided being able to roleplay a Wookiee Jedi just isn't impressive or popular. I'm adding a new outfit and converting him into a World War 2 Mandalorian Mercenary Cowboy. I'll let your imagination do the rest, as I'll have plenty to do myself if I want to see this vision come to fruition. Other than that, I've got a Ren Faire thing in September, but if high temperatures linger, I'm honestly considering aborting and waiting until the cooler months. Sucks, but so does heat stroke.
