A miracle of science

I was thinking about getting vaccinated against swine-flu and I just got an email telling me that it'd be my turn. They are not mandatory, but they're offered free of charge and are definitely recommended.
The people I know who've taken it tell me that it makes you feel just like you had swine flu the very next day after the injection. While there's no live (or even dead) virions in the vaccine, there's a compound in it for amplifying the immune reaction of the body, which while making the vaccine more effective, also makes you feel ill. In some cases you may even get a fever, but then that'll be pretty much it. No swine-flu for you.
I would like to hear your thoughts on H1N1 vaccination, and whether you think there's any reason I shouldn't take it. Personally I can't think of any good reason not to, and if you disagree I'm willing to defend my views. Also out of curiosity, I'd like to know how much trouble one has to go through to get a vaccination where you guys live.

I won't getting one, since the H1N1 won't kill (and if it does, even the normal one would), and I only take vaccinations for the big ones (rabies, whatever), never flu shots.
But there are no good reasons not to take it, so go ahead, and if you are worried about the flu, it will take your mind off of its possible effects,
it's better to get sick for a day than for two weeks (unless you want to take the time off to relax, if you can relax whilst having a constant headache, relentless coughing and so forth).
Over here (the Netherlands), it works on an invitation basis - where the labour-related high risk categories are determined by some seemingly arbitrary system - to include those with a compromised immunesystem. But as we all know, money talks, and if you throw money at paper-people in the right places (supposedly the same locations where it's 'decided' which jobs put you at risk) you can obtain a shot regardless. At heart, it's not a very unique, or even surprising, system.
