Never Again
I'm not drawing wet/messy diaper art anymore.
While it's never been something I'd draw just for myself, I used to be willing to draw it if someone requested it. That is, until two recent incidents changed my mind.
Incident #1:
Back in, I believe, February, a user, whom I'll call "Hal", asked me to draw King from The Owl House hypnotized in a messy diaper, which I agreed to without thinking.
Now, before I go on, I should mention that, instead of uploading requests as I finish them, I finish every single one on my plate, then upload them all at once. This way I avoid drawing attention to myself, so I don't get hounded by hopeful requesters when I already have so many to finish.
On that note, it took a loooooong while for me to finish my queue. When Hal contacted me, I was in the middle of a particularly strenuous college term and didn't want to work on anything not for school. I finished Hal's request, along with some others, during spring break but still had a long way to go. My spring term wasn't as strenuous, so I was able to make time for requests, but I still had to put schoolwork first.
Then, in May, I found out Hal had a couple dark secrets. People reported having done art trades with them, only to never receive their half, which, by itself, would've made me reconsider fulfilling Hal's request. However, the next one really shook me up: Hal was a MINOR requesting NSFW diaper art while lying about their age!
On a side note, given the new policy, it probably wouldn't have been safe to upload Hal's request even if they were a legal adult. If you know what King looks like, he probably counts as a "minor coded character", and the policy is against minors being hypnotized.
Incident #2:
Perhaps a little less than a month after the Hal incident, another user, whom I'll call "Pat" asked me to draw Husk from Hazbin Hotel in a messy diaper. Having been wisened up by Hal, I asked Pat to prove they were a legal adult. They asked how, and I suggested sending me a photo of their birth date listed on any trustworthy document, which may not be the most ethical way, but it's the only one I could think of.
Anyway, Pat wasn't sure how to send photos through this site, so I tried to teach them how to upload photos through Google Drive. However, they found the process too complicated and decided they'd rather cancel their request and go to someone else. Reasonable enough, but, unfortunately, I have a hard time letting stuff go. I thought I could help Pat understand the process, but all I succeeded at was getting them fed up with me. They said to stop pressing them for details, that they no longer wanted the request, and to not message them again, or else they'd block me...and that was the end of that.
I realized I don't want to go through something like this again every time someone asks me for wet or messy diaper art. I don't want to overcomplicate things, get more people mad at me, or make myself look like a creep.
By all means, it was my fault for getting Pat mad at me. I should've accepted that they'd changed their mind and moved on. However, I feel that if I'm going to have someone verify their age, only for them to decide it's not worth it and have their request cancelled, I might as well not accept these requests in the first place. I'm not saying this will 100% happen every time, it's just, if there's a chance of it, it's not worth the risk. I'm also not sure how to have someone verify their age without making myself look suspicious.
Between these two incidents, I've decided it's just not worth it. I don't want to draw NSFW diaper art for someone, only to find out they're underage, and I don't want to get someone to prove their age, just to cause confusion, anger, and whatever else, and ultimately end up not drawing the request. It just feels like a lose/lose situation. I don't enjoy drawing any form of NSFW art anyway. I'd still rather draw NSFW diaper art than regular porn, but, overall, I'd much rather draw either wholesome pics of characters enjoying being babies or anything with a twist of humor.
What's more, I'm worried drawing this type of art will get me in trouble in the future, not just on this site, but in real life too. I'm not sure my family would understand, and if I ever become a public figure within the art industry, and someone finds this, I'll be another John Krikfalusi or Dave "Shmorky" Kelly: a once renowned artist outed as a sick, disgusting, pedophile.
(Please don't any of you take that last part literally. I'm saying that's how the public would see me.)
So, yeah. My mind's made up. I won't accept any future requests involving wet or messy diapers.
Now, I know a couple of my friends are into that sort of thing, and if that's you, don't worry. I won't cut contact with you. If it's what you're into, you do you. I'm just not drawing it anymore. That's it.
Ciao.

Shocking?

My impression is that Pat was probably a minor as well if they didn't know how to share images on the internet and got defensive over age verification.

Honestly, I thought the same thing.

Maybe before taking people request maybe ask for their age first ?

Like I said, I tried that once, and it didn't go well. It's just not worth the hassle for something I don't even like drawing that much.

Just wondering, does this include changing art because that's what my next request was going to be

Diaper changes are fine, so long as I don't have to show visible waste.
