I find it a little funny, in that Uvuzi, non-canon, has had a little experience with my semiphasing field.
Far more sophisticated a tool than she was given in the story, but limited in some ways the artifacts were not. It was interesting to see how she'd actually react in-canon to artifacts like this.

I bet Tiktik would give his left nut for a semiphasing field, though. Sounds like it'd be a dream come true for him.

Phasing is a much less common ability in D&D than acid resistance or even adaptation.

Oh that's right, Monstertown runs under D&D rules. Though to be fair I didn't actually create.the field. My late archmage mate did it, mostly by stringing a series of spells together into an artifact and making it duplicatable. The downside is that it isn't combat armor. If I used it, say, with Uvuzi, she could still crush me if she wanted.

I used to joke with another DM I knew that it:d cost a dragon's hoard of gold to make... but I'd make it back from interested monsters!

Monstertown is set in my old D&D world, which is a lightly modified World of Greyhawk. I stopped playing in second edition but the setting is assumed to me more or less 3.5 edition these days.
