Mastodon is much more complicated than it needs to be when trying to connect with other people. It's not terrible but it takes a lot of getting used to.

ahhhh gotcha. I seen a few people were trying it up. same with other that were doing bluesky as well.

I'm on Mastodon myself, but I don't really like it much. Bluesky is still invite only, which complicates using it. From what I've heard folks like it a lot, but until it's fully public it's basically not an option.
ahh so only an invite will get ya in there. gotcha. though... If I do see more people going to Mastodon, I might go there too. or even if Twitter, or well, X since today should be the day of it's rebranding doesn't workout well.

Yeah, for now. It reminds me a bit of gmail when it first started. I'm hoping it'll be public sooner rather than later. I'm not expecting anything good to come out of what Musk's doing.
