For now I'm only in FA, Twitter and Itaku. Sometimes I update my Deviantart too, once a month.
It's hard to manage so many social accounts....
Right now, I don't trust Threads because it's Meta/Facebook who've proven time and again they love to abuse people's data, and I don't like algorithmic feeds. And it sounds like it's mostly Brands and Influencers there.
I'm holding judgement on Bluesky because you can't get in without an invite and I haven't gotten one yet, but I admit I'm skeptical of yet another corporate/billionaire-owned platform by the same people who made Twitter, which may well suffer the same monetization and moderation problems Twitter had even before Musk took over.
I actually like Mastodon a lot now that I'm on it … there's a few quirky challenges to get around, but there's no ads, no algorithm pushing hate speech or anger posts for engagement, no faceless corporation running things. It's literally community driven and there's been gradually increasing activity there over the past eight months.
I'll keep an eye on where most people end up, but right now I'm focused mostly on Mastodon and FA and my Telegram channels, with a few other sites I check in on from time to time.
