I see more people complaining "Ooooo you can't say that or else you'll get cancelled" than I do actually saying the referenced "offensive" thing. I swear I don't think anyone knows what woke or cancelled even mean.

Yet, even those accounts are read through a modern filter and subject to many interpretations. The arguments are circular and therefore unproductive. It is better to let them speak their peace and then let the audience decide. If the audience is too lazy to want to look at all the evidence, it's not my job to disprove them. Rather that's the job of historians and viewers to think critically about what they are reading.

Likewise, if we dig into Critical Race Theory, we will learn that the North benefited from slavery and that slaves were sold in New York City while the banks profited from the money generated by wealthy plantations and the gross domestic product produced on those plantations. The community requires cooperation from both sides.

wellllllllll thats in part because of the realization that AI can fuck them over now and lose jobs.
Ive seen what AI writes and like i said in a previous journal, writers have got nothing to worry about, AI writing is pathetic and bland and without substance.

The man was a visionary! And the amazing thing is I never got tired of reading his technical descriptions of things.
If you want some even more scary reading find "Prey" which deals with AI and nanites and "Next" which could easily be basis for the more recent versions of "Planet of the Apes"!

Oh, yeah. I found Evon a couple of years before I found Sequential Art. Brittany's art has gotten so much better than when she first started the comic. (But, don't tell her I said that.) I've even got a number of commissions by her in my gallery.

she's kinda frustrated sometimes that her comic isnt a megahit and i try to let her know we appreciate all she does.
she works as a nurse too and badly wants to get outta nursing and into comics fulltime as a career i think.
