I saw about 30 people out riding them in a group when I was there on vacation last month. there's probably a club or facebook group.

Yeah, there’s a Saturday night ride in Seattle, but 1) I don’t use Facebook so I can’t coordinate with them, and 2) I’d always rather ride with “my people” if given the choice and 3) I’m cautious about the big established group rides because I’d probably hate them. A lot of them seem to take to the roads i ways I find wreckless, irresponsible, and annoying, so while I might try joining them someday, I’m skeptical.

On the opposite side of the country but, my the other half and myself both have rad runners.

I'm in the Seattle area, but the closest I have to a PEV is an electric car. I've always thought it'd be fun to have an electric scooter and zip about on one.

Given how hilly and mountainous it is around here safety gear is pretty much a necessity. That and bear mace. :V

There definitely seems to be a lot of hills! It’s one of the reasons I’m making sure my wheel can handle hill climbs!
