Honestly, I don't give a stuff about the name even though it is a dumb idea. More the letting hate speach people back on and firing everyone who moderates content. Twitter is fast becoming parler or truth social

Also as a writer, I tend to go wjere the readers go to try anfld keep up. So as furs seem to be flocking to bluesky I am joining

Not sure what fediverse is. Bluesky is far from perfect, but given the direction of twitter the last year I don't think it's worse. It might ebd up in the same point, it's too soon to say. However, mastodon seems poor, threads is abysmal, twitter is nose diving abd becoming blue tick exclusive. Bluesky seems the best of what's left.

Mastodon's in the fediverse. Trust me, you'd easily get a following there. It's very artist friendly, very furry friendly. https://furryfediverse.org/ has some great entry points for the furry community.
