Nintendo Switch mod plans
As of the moments, I got good news and bad news.
The bad news? With my old broken Nintendo Switch, where the irreplaceable bluetooth chip is beyond repair? I couldn't get much in for store credit, when I traded it in anywhere. (With myself getting LESS than 100 US dollars...which I feel just isn't enough.)
The good news? I plan to recycle my older, partially broken Nintendo Switch that still MOSTLY works...for offline homebrew! (Something I don't talk about on certain sites, such as YouTube, for site rule reasons.)
Don't get me wrong; I OPENLY respect Nintendo; especially for inspiring gamers and game developers, alike! But this is just for good, clean, offline fun. (Granted? This would be illegal if it was in Japan. But I'm in the United States, so...technically? It's kind of in the gray area...but I'm sticking STRICTLY with the legal methods, in the United States! And besides; this is about encouraging a game console to be RECYCLED. Besides; if I want online play and non-modded content? I'll stick with my current main device...my OLED Nintendo Switch!)
Here are examples of games I might try to find mods, for. (Based on video games I already have physical copies, of!)
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
Perhaps with some additional maps and playable characters? Because THAT would be fun!
Kirby Star Allies
I'd actually like to see some interesting custom content, for this game!
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
New racetracks, cars, and racers? Sounds like fun!
Skylanders: Imaginators
Perhaps I should try at some custom models and such...so I can add non-"imaginator" based custom skylanders, such as Strong Bad, from the "Homestar Runner" franchise? (Of whom I would add as a specialist of the UNDEAD element!)
Sonic Mania
If it means being able to find modding methods, where I can add playable characters, stages, and bossfights, WITHOUT replacing any content?!? DEFINITELY!
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
OMIGOSH...someone online designed Shaggy as a playable fighter for custom modded "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" content! XD
But...I'm sure there's more to custom mod content besides fighters...such as alternate attires, stages, soundtrack, bosses, and assist characters!
Additional games I'd like to see custom content, for: (Among games I own legally commercial physical copies, of!)
= A Hat In Time
= Bravely Default II
= Crystal Crisis
= Mega Man 11
= Monster Hunter Generations: Ultimate
= Monster Hunter Rise
= Rayman Legends
= Samurai Shodown (2019 video game)
= Sonic Forces
= Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
= *Various older versions of "Pokemon" other than the "Scarlet" & "Violet" versions*
On the side: Nintendo Switch video games I plan to buy physical copies of, sooner or later:
= Mega Man Battle Network Collection
= Puyo Puyo Tetris 2

BTW? I found out that my physical copy of "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" is actually an IMPORT from the PAL region...and guess what? It works JUST RIGHT on my OLED Switch; bought from a GameStop location in North America! (As it's technically the same version as the ESRB based version!)
Which is why I ordered myself a physical copy of "Klonoa: The Phantom Reverie Series" on eBay...for a US dollar total of $32.81! (A region-lock free copy from the PAL region!)
That's twice as cheap, compared to the full price for that game, on the Nintendo eShop!
