He was very much alive in the photo.

I have. And it annoys me that someone reported it. He was very much alive in the photo. I COULD have posted the actual photo of him dead. but i did not.

He was a scrungly little man even in the days where he'd be running around like a crackhead. The asshole who thought he was gone would have likely done the same with photos taken months ago. 😕 Would it kill the mods to contact people before acting for cases like this?

Really wish they would personally contact us regarding a beloved pet instead of following blindly to random reports without checking if its correct or not.

I agree. In this case it seems very much prudent to be sure the report was valid, especially considering the harm it's caused.

I'm so sorry you've had to experience this.
