PC Reset, Bluesky Code? 3D Artist Wanted, Fullbody VR!
2 years ago
Hiyas all!
Just a small update with my life, nothing more X3
* PC Reset *
I finally decided to just... nuke my PC, the extra apps, mods and stuffs that are hidden here and there and refuses to be uninstalled got on my nerve so I had enough and nuked my PC with a reset... it's so easy these days to do it, back then you had to have a CD or flash and wait for hours, now, you can just do it~
That also means... I lost alot of my progress, but hey! if it means my Tablet gonna work even better, then I'm fine with it! So here's hoping all is well!
* Bluesky Code? *
So I heard of this Bluesky thingy, saying they're like twitter, and I was wondering... just like how Weasyl and Furnation or other furry websites that tried to replace FA and failed... Is this gonna be the same? since it feels like it is trying to replace Twitter, excuse me, I mean X... God, that name is stupid... dystopian villain mega corp name~
Anyway! anyone got a code for meeeee? X3
* Fullbody VR *
I got Fullbody VR set! 5 HTC trackers and 3 more coming, along with 2 extra Base Stations! finally after 3 years of wishing to have fullbody, I finally got one!... ofcourse why it feels I got them at their end of age and something even newer will come lol, well atleast I got them! so I am hoping to probably plan to do VR content in Twitch and youtube, who knows!
* 3D Artist Wanted! *
Point above brings to this... I need 3D model! Fit ones, big ones, fat ones, lol
So I am looking for a Decent 3D modeler/creator to make my characters and help me set them up for VR related stuffs, probably can do neat facial expressions too and good body blendshapes X3
Hit me up if you are one or know someone who does and let's make models of my characters! =D
That's it!
Hope you all have a great day!
In by far and large Mastodon seems more like a palatable approach in terms of social media platforms that isn't a corporate owned platform, but as a free and open-source platform owned by the people who run them. Everything is integrated as what we call it the Fediverse, what this basically is someone can run a node instance of Mastodon, name it whatever and such doesn't have to be called Mastodon specifically, the base code of the platform is called Mastodon, and they use what's called ActivityPub, meaning if you're on one server node instance, it can also share and communicate with another creating a central network of sorts, but they're all independently owned and you can choose which ones you communicate with, there's no fancy algorithms or thing shoved in your face when it comes to sharing and communicating, and you curate what you see, you are your own algorithm when you properly tag your posts with hashtags related to specific topics and such, a built-in Content Warning filter moderation, the ability to add Alt-Text to images so you can describe things with Screen Readers for the visually impaired.
Hearing all of this might sound complicated or confusing, but it couldn't be farther from the truth, in fact it's rather super easy, barely an inconvenience, join and instance of your choice, lookup who to follow, and/or import across possible followers/followings and such from Twitter... err X by scanning your Follower/Following lists (that is if Twitter/X hasn't broken the API that lets you authorise third-party apps). All the details on how to get setup and all that stuff can be found on https://furryfediverse.org
or, I kno another guy that could also help for cheaper.
I pledged to you in Patreon before too! I would looooove some of those avatars of yours x3
Oooh? who is the other guy?
i dont have a price sheet as I charge based on how many hours I think it will take. (tho this number ends up being around $625)
Also, may I ask if the avatars/models you have on Patreon will be on sale, say on Gumroad or Booth?
see, I actually wanted to use Gumroad (and possibly booth), but I dont due to not having a way to securely verify purchases. (meaning that I dont have a way to keep track of what users should have access to the models if they get it through Gumroad.) I did look into Gumroad's API long ago and figured out how to use the key system BUT I didnt have a way to tie that into my backend systems. (also problem with booth is they dont have an API like Gumroad's so thats no dice there)
Maybe that's what VRchat devs are trying to aim for as well (beside having market share lol) when they announced In-game store, but maybe I'm thinking too deep into it lol
