This is the comment they cited as the problem:
Thanks for the comment! Patreon has been having many unfortunate bugs lately due to a new migration, making it tough to get accurately displayed numbers! For instance, if I tell it to organize my patrons by those who have canceled, it shows me none, even though I know that not to be true, as some have indeed cancelled - it's a bit of a mess 😮! In fact, the day after I launched, a site-wide bug caused many creators to be told they had zero patrons at all 😱 ! According to my account info, there are currently 30 patrons with no set expiration date, which matches the initially cited $150 pledge figure! There is a total of 43 active Patrons when including those that have, as of now, opted not to renew! Of these Patrons, there are around 28 in my discord server! We have a nice little community! Given my relatively low visibility within the fandom, I am fairly pleased with these numbers so far for just over 2 weeks since launch and have been happy with its steady growth! With my current financial situation, including income from other sources, I need approximately 80-90 patrons for solvency! I'm happy with the progress made so far🥰 !
But your concern is appreciated! I'm glad you like my work!
This was written in response to somebody complaining about the amusingly censored images I posted there, and how it would supposedly negatively impact my Patreon.
Of the two images, one was approved by management and had a positive score and a few dozen faves. The second one, they were less happy about, and since management previously complained at me for my responses to users angry about the previews, I decided to go the other way and be very, very jubilant in my responses.
Which I guess is also against the rules if you're WhimsicalSquirrel?
Seriously, this comment is the ONLY cited reason. Just admit you don't like me dudes, lol.

FA+

I was wrong.
At least I was actually passive-aggressive when I got dinged. This is just an informative statement.
