I ♥ Sefeiren's Fenra species
Adopts are really cool and you should enjoy buying them. I just have a couple tips here about buying an adopt that I want other people to know.
Buying an adopt does not mean that the artist WONT resell your design, notify or ask permission to remake the design to sell again or notify or ask permission to make porn of your adopt. You must be clear in your terms when you buy the adopt that you are paying for ALL rights to the design, and not just a copy of the design otherwise the artist may turn around and hope to make a profit from a unique design that you possibly paid hundreds of dollars for
Here's another tip: If an artist is selling you an adopt and you trust them? Make sure they don't list you on the auction submission for more than a few months. You are responsible for what happens to your adopt after sale, they are not responsible for listing ownership after they have sold an adopt. If they are still listing the adopt that they sold you on their furaffinity profile ,they are still technically advertising this design, saying "Hey guys. Come look at this design. I can remake/redesign a porny one for you if you're jealous of them!"
Thank you for reading my journal, this is something thats been on my mind for a few years. because I had a bad experience with buying an expensive adopt from someone.
There is this one artist called catto and he sold me Nargavali a while back. but then a couple years later he gets it in his head to resell the design and put a dick and some hairstyle on it and pretend its a unique design but its literally another nargacuga/avali hybrid. I asked him to explain why he's reselling my design, but he pretended that I was just being foolish and stupid, and that I didn't have rights to the species. he was deflecting my concerns as his customer and disrespecting me instead of being a good person.
