Disney was Fantastic

I'm sorry I didn't post earlier, but we made it home safe and sound from our trip to Disney.
We all had a blast despite the very hot days (upper 90s each day). I hadn't been in 32 years and my wife and daughter had never been, so other than a few things at Magic Kingdom which I remembered and two things at Hollywood Studies (which had just opened last time I was there), it was new to all of us. And what a fun time. I love how you get the blend of rollercoasters, slow rides that tell a story, bad jokes, animatronic magic, various shows, and amazing sights and souvenirs. We had a wonderful time and all hope we'll be able to go back again someday.
My money situation still sucks, and my savings are... mostly depleted at this point to pay for the car repair (which if they'd told me the rust damage was as bad as it was up front I wouldn't have bothered). It will take a year without any major repairs for anything for us to recover from this, and even then since I'll have to get a new vehicle we won't really be back where we were. So I didn't get as many souvenirs or do some of the extra things I would have liked to do on this vacation. But it was still a wonderful time and found it time and money well spent.

Unfortunate about the money situation but at least the memories and fun times you all got for this will last a long time and didn't cost extra to get unlike the souvenirs. Excellent you all made it back safely as well.
And you are right, the memories from our vacation will long outlast the tighter belts we wear now.
