I has green Carolina Repears in my pot growing....
Finally!!!
I have 5 in various sizes plus 3 more flowers on my 9" pot and a 2 foot plant.
It took em long enough.
I hope they ripen before frost so i can actually take a pic and deliver on my promises to share...
Frost is usually mid November but it doesn't stay above 50F after about mid-October. sometimes even after Canadian thanksgiving it gets too cold to grow "hot plants" like Tomatoes and Peppers.
(Cayennes, Birds eyes, and 'Jales do ok though -- Ive experienced this with a 10 pound Bird's Eye harvest up till my birthday on 11/16. We got these off only 5 small plants...)
It'll depend on nature as to how long i have as "Super Hots" go dormant below 50F and stop growing from what I know.
Please cheer for my insanely hot experiment to grow and ripen strong!!
I was lucky enough to find the last plant back in May at the nursery and convince my parents to buy it for me^_^;
...Hopefully I dont burn a hole in my stomach or go blind when i cook em off to make a sauce with them and other peppers (Habaneros from the store, some Serranos from the garden as well, and a "Butch-T Scorpion" my moms "aid worker" promised me.)
...And hopefully the government doesn't fine me for growing them like one of the friends of said "aid worker" was (~according to her)
The plants helped me to get over my moping a bit. Im okay now until I have to confront it again someday... -.-
