Otters are the only true seafaring peoples of Dungworld. Their contact with other civilizations, other than the lions that neighbor them on their home coast, consist entirely of the peoples they meet sailing around the continent trading fish, shells, and other sea goods. Home at the northernmost point of the continent, separated from the inland by a vast desert, they have few contact with outsiders other than the lions. Occasionally they are met with slaver raids by the Horses, but always retreat to the sea to outrun the terrible sailors. Their fur is permanently died yellow from a life of swimming in the piss ocean They are the natural prey of several giant sea monsters.

The lions maintain a highly incestuous matriarchal society in the desert where sons primarily breed with mothers or sisters. They build their houses out of their own sun baked dung adding to them generation after generation to reinforce them. They also hold the honor of being priestesses of Predathor, living at the foot of his dung mountains. They have a tenuous relationship with the horses. Sometimes the horses raid. Sometimes the horses trade. Sometimes the horses breed with them as some male lions sport horse penises in their family lines.

Wolves are shamanistic wildman raiders who form isolated and disperate pack camps in the mountains and badlands below. Kept at bay from the forest by the deer, they raid north into the lion desert. Their preferred form of sex is violent, and non-consentual often ending in the voring of their prey-mate. They practice this form of sex-predation on other packs as often as they do other nations.

The horses are the only semi-industrial nation holding the knowledge and ability to forge Bronze. Though their weapons make them formidable, and their walls impenetrable, they have proven themselves to flounder in environments unlike their own, being bested in offence by the nations around them, but always winning within their borders. Their society is upheld by a massive underclass of foxes enslaved both for sex and labor. They are fiercely male supremacist, with a woman's purpose to gratify a male sexually in all desires. However female horses perform no labor, and are above even foxes. The horses do not extend their sexism to other nations, considering the women of other nations equal to themselves.

Once the fierce enemy of Horses, the deer are now the best of allies. While Deer are not a military power they hold the only Tin mines on the continent found within the mountains to their east. Tin is a rare and necessary ingredient to produce Bronze. After a century of on again off again warfare between them, each time the Horses mounting an invasion only to be split up and dismantled in the trees by deer warriors made a pact that 70% of the Tin from the mountain mines would be sold to the horses instead. The Deer flourished in riches. The Deer and the Foxes share territory, are non competitive, and sometimes intermarry. Free foxes work in the Tin mines for pay.

Foxes maintain a tribal society of scattered villages in their low forest homeland, but thanks to their Slavery can be found among every nation on the continent. You might expect their enslavement to enrage them, but on the contrary, it has roots deep in their religion. Foxes generally have an eager disposition, desire to please, are sexually submissive, and willing prey. This alone makes them popular. But to Horses, they are something else entirely. Foxes worship horses. They worship the size and stink of their dicks, wash themselves in horse piss, feast on horse dung, and consider the greatest fulfillment of their religion to be sexually satisfying their chosen idols. Foxes are willingly captured, and being chosen by a horse is a high honor and met with ovations. A Fox will fiercely love and worship his equine owner to the end, even if that end is by their owner. Foxes even serve auxiliary and small arms rolls in the horse military. Far from Helots, a horse has never to fear their Foxes revolt.

Hyenas live in the mountains of dung that ring the swamp produced by the copious and prodigeous crocodiles. Hyena life has one purpose; to stink and to fuck. Happy to be left alone with their crocodile friends they spend their days fucking and sharing their stench and eating each other just to show off what a thick turd they could turn their friend into. They are just as likely to greet you as to gulp you...unless you are a horse. Constantly at war with the horses they have bested them in outright combat as many times as they have been steamrolled.

Crocodiles are lazy, stinky, voracious brutes with entirely no morality. There could be no more perfect a match for the Hyenas. Their societies are sometimes considered to be one in the same by outsiders with the two intermarrying (if you can say marriage to exist in their nations) as constantly as they eat each others and their own offspring for pleasure and bragging rights. No hard feelings are ever felt, and the farts and turds are always celebrated. Crocodiles see no distinction between their Anthro and Feral forms, interbreeding and forming romantic relationships with the giant feral croc beasts that swim their swamps.

Boarish society lives by one rule: Supremacy Of The Fattest. The goal in life is to eat, consume, and grow immobily fat and eventually eat the current Lardlord for leadership of the nation. Litheness is weakness and fatness is strength. A permanent cacophony of the loudest echoing farts roars out from their lands day and night, and the slapping of fat bellies against fat hips is the only noise that drowns it out.

The tigers are eternally reclusive, their jungle being nearly unnavigable to outsiders. To say they are only of the stone age is an insult. While the other stone age cultures live in huts of dung and twigs the Tigers have built massive stone temples with piss flowing aqueducts and dung paved citing in the middle of their jungles. For what purpose...no one really knows.
