Even though I don't know anyone in the USA and I'm not a Westerner, but for me personally this tragedy, which happened exactly 22 years ago today, is the worst disaster of the 21st century. Even if we take it down a notch, at least for the noughties and basically for the entire history of North America.
I am extremely annoyed by people who manage to make jokes about it, photoshop real images of the tragedy and laugh at other people's grief.
Yes, someone will say that it doesn't concern us, that World War II is much more bloody and horrible than 2977 people crushed under the concrete, blown up or jumped out of windows at the height of 410 meters....
But people, remember that this is not a joke and that no idea, no design can separate Russians, Americans, Germans, French, etc. from other people.
We are all human beings. Remember that 🌏
