I'm actually not surprised, for some reason a lot of folks haven't heard of it, but yeah! It's an anti-viral that drastically cuts recovery time and reduces symptoms. Happy to spread the word!

Oh yeah, definitely won't stop me. While I think vaccination in general is better for everyone at large, at this point it's up to the person to be responsible. If they get the info and walk away from it, that's on them. There are at least mitigations now for people they might inadvertently affect with their carelessness, so I'm not thrilled but they're less of a risk than they were at the start of the outbreak.

yeah, literally have two family members sick right now a couple miles away and the only things they both do is grocery shop and office work for one of them. One of them got sick at work because of somebody careless and then brought it home to an elderly mother. <_>; Lovely that people are getting covid and coming to work still but we're not supposed to be worried about bothering with boosters because apparently getting blood clots in our organs and or brain is a'okay as far as careless people are concerned. 🤡

Make sure both family members know they can seek out a prescription for Paxlovid, it's an antiviral that helps cut symptoms and speeds recovery time significantly, should be able to get it from local pharmacy, clinic, or general practitioner, but it needs to be taken within 5 days of symptom onset.

Yep. Just got both scheduled.

Good! I got my flushot yesterday, had dropped into the pharmacy to see about the availability of boosters, so got that knocked out since they won't have the covid booster til next week. Next friday though I'm all scheduled! ^^

yeah they offered that to me last year. certainly quicker to just do them together
