It's really up in the air right now. I need to see what I can afford, and when I can afford it. ;)

I had my first con just a few months ago, when I went to AC. Hands down, it was the best time I've had in years; it was so much fun, and everyone I talked to was a little surprised to hear this was my first con, because apparently AC is a pretty huge con for someone's first time. :P Either way, I can't vouch for MFF, or FC, but I can definitely tell you that AC was a blast. I hope whichever one you go to, you have an amazing time. :D Also, definitely find some people you can hang out with. I was mostly hanging out with the guys I was rooming with, and we ran into some pretty surprising people. :P

I would donate dude, but paypal being a whore to me. It ain't letting me link my bank account to my paypal account...yeah...it's 'fun'.

I would have been interested in attending one at some point as well, but they all seem to happen on either the east or west coast, and here I am stuck in central US, away from everything.

I have the same problem, except I'm further north, in Canada. ;)

A Furry Convention, such as Anthrocon (AC) or Further Confusion (FC) where furs can go and meet and goof around. I always hear they are loads of fun, but I've never been able to go to one before...

XD anything where there is a group of aussies around is a barrel of laughs...we are the definition of goofing around kinda...we were the ones who did you APEC stunt for the Chaser's war on everything XD

I know a bunch of people over there that I would love to meet at a con. Maybe someday. :)

I went to Further Confusion for my first convention, and it was an absolute blast, so much so that I didn't want to go home when it ended! It's a medium sized convention, so perhaps you can try that one first to slowly work your way into the convention mindset.

Still, it's a good idea to start saving up, as these conventions can be EXPENSIVE, with hotel, food, and especially artwork, sucking away the funds from your wallet. But it is OH SO WORTH IT.

*Laughs* Yeah, Canada, far indeed. I'm trying to get to AC myself next year just to say I did. One of the furs I know is about ten times as insane as I am, and makes the most daunting a road trips I've ever seen to get there. Hopefully I can become a part of that.

But whatever. Hope all ends well for you man. :D

Hehe, if you don't have to fly in and out quickly, it's easy to go to those for pretty cheap!

I'd be happy to help if you tell which convention you want to go to 'n such. I'm not sure i can exactly throw money your way, but i could offer free roomspace if it's one of those i'm going to, and/or help with transportation.
