Accepting Commission Pitches

General
I’m trying to get into a writing rhythm and am considering taking a few commissions around the end of September and into October.
These days I’m generally charging about $24 for 1,000 words (about two pages, three double-spaced). So I’d be looking to take several shorter pieces (up to 4-5k words) or one longer piece. I’m also interested in writing a story as part of a story-for-art trade, or potentially trading the story for one half of a cost-equivalent multiple-character art piece, if anyone would be interested in that. Expected story turnaround would be six weeks maximum.

Instead of taking pitches through the Google Doc I’ve used in the past I’d be fine taking this round of commissions through FA notes or emails to jtwulv (@) gmail [.] com. Please give a detailed description of what you’d be interested in getting. My characters are available to use in a pitch within reason.
I reserve the right to accept or reject any story pitch and will likely be selective in choosing pieces to prevent burnout. I will respond to any applicants whose pitches I choose on Sunday September 24. Thanks for your (potential) interest!
