(before i go off I'd like to say this isn't everyone. there are people who i feel do fair to above trades with me. this just a rant of a trend I see happening. this is also a stream of thought rant)

Why is it that when i offer Art trades maybe three out of ten folks have art skills on or above my level? do I over valuing my skills? i seem to get the same hand full of people ask me for trades who always say "I know my art isn't good but..." EVERY FREAKING TIME!!!! You know who you are.
Do I not have murals artist buddies? It cant be EVERYTIME I offer up trades they are busy. I'm already in a bad head space and this doesn't help. Is it my art? Do people not want to do trades? Even when i get folks who are giving art away to me, i offer to make it a trade and they say no. its madding that i cant seem to get two to three people who i feel decent about doing a trade while 10 folks who it feel like they just some free art.
I try to be fair with my trades. sometimes i go above and beyond with a trade just cause i like the person of the character. I'd like to think I'm a pretty cool guy.. i just don't know what I'm doing wrong sometimes. like what tier of furry artist am i? maybe I'm not very good and this is the natural level of trades my art deserves. maybe I'm decent but not as good as I think I am. or maybe I'm creepy or a weirdo and i don't know it

Thank you to those who do work on trades with me. i might feel jaded but i do appreciate that people even care to do trades with me.
