This is a feeling I identify with. The worst thing about this sort of thing is that you usually need to provide a bunch of personal info to the site to have it DMCA'd, too. Frustrating. Sounds like it was resolved? Hopefully for good. Best of luck!

Looks like the "artist" has already been fired and merch taken down. Fingers crossed you might see some recompense in the form of monetary value from however much money they had made from the art.

I know this poor sweet soul is so anxious and stressed right now so UPDATE to anyone who's seeing this today and also what I personally experienced from Leigh.

Since this post, Leigh made a post on Twitter shouting Sciggles out and apologized for the theft but that was it. No financial compensation or communication with Sciggles at all. A day later, he deleted that shout-out tweet because he thinks she's "bashing him and wants money"

She's not bashing him, she's stating facts and wants to be properly compensated for the design SHE made. He's 5 mil strong on tiktok, and has a responsibility here he's failing to acknowledge.

He also made a comment when someone fully @'ed him that Sciggles was getting a call from a VP tomorrow (tomorrow has come and past at this point, btw) and Sciggles commented how she had no idea about a call. No one communicated that to her and she had not been reached out to.

He made a tweet the following day saying "I’m gonna retire from this social media thing one day… I’m too nice for this lol…"

To which I commented: "Not sure what this comment was meant to communicate to your following, or to the people you know are frustrated & disheartened with how things have been handled.

If you're as nice as you're claiming you are, then please show us. Turn this situation around while there is time."
