I just learned that Kratos isn’t just a video game character, but he was an actual figure in Greek mythology. Kratos is the son of the titan Pallas and the goddess Styx, and his name means ‘the divine personification strength’;oh the irony. He has three other siblings; Nike (Victory), Bia (Force), and Zelus (Glory). He is best known in the story Prometheus Bound where he and his sister Bia are agents of Zeus and parade Prometheus to the mountains of Scythia to be chained for stealing and giving the gift of fire to mankind.
