At this point, they are pretty much no longer gonna use Toei's Sentai footage as Hasbro has plans for a full reboot.

They hired a showrunner who stated the current rights holders for Power Rangers will no longer be using the Super Sentai Tokutsatsu footage. The showrunner openly stated he is not a fan of the property, the writers laughed at the original footage, and couldn't understand why anyone was a fan of this stuff.

They will be filming their own footage going forward. So expect something more like that recent Power Rangers reboot movie going forward. Another case of the current writers and IP owners having open contempt for the thing they are working on. They're going to "fix it" because it was dumb and you're dumb for liking it.

This is why I didn't care about the Hollywood writers' or Actors' strikes. Both are overpaid clowns that just want to lecture the audience instead of doing their job of entertaining the audience.

The strike we should be worried about is the Auto Industry strike.

As far as am concerned, America just never could grasp the concept of moving beyond mighty morphin and trying new ideas like Sentai did. Its 5 stupid teenagers yada yada, thats why we have had what 2.5 might morphin movies, and then whatever that new garbage came out where they brought back the first american cast...like yeesh. Atleast with Gokaiger it was cool seeing past actors reprise their roles...as mentors....not oh look am pushing my 40's but i still look great in my suit as i save the world.
