September update is here!
Finally after yearssss of talking about it I saved enough for an IPad Pro. And I couldn’t be happier! I’ve already done so much with it in just a month since having it! I immediately bought an Apple Pencil and Pro Create and I am so happy I can finally draw more comfortably whenever I want. It’s still a lot of getting used to it, especially with the new program. I normally draw with a Wacom tablet and draw in Paint Tool Sai. And it’s very different now, but I am sure in time I will make all the awesome and cute art again <3 I’ve been barely drawing since I’ve become a mom and I am looking forward to picking this up again!
Although the main reason I bought an IPad + pen is to draw, I’ve also been exploring other programs. So at first I was looking into Adobe Illustrator, because that’s a program I’ve always used in the past for my graphic design work such as Logos and other illustrative designs. But when I saw how expensive that was I looked further. Then Affinity Designer came into the picture and for the price of just €19,99 I had to try it out. I was very surprised it was sooooo easy to pick up, especially if you have worked with Adobe Illustrator before. It’s very much the same and wow I just love it! I immediately started to make my long awaited Logo Design and after playing around with how to do things I quickly had my Logo done. I couldn’t be happier with my Logo. It’s finally more official and can finally make some official business cards and so much more.
The last few months I’ve been mostly busy with finishing a lot of Splatoon hats. I’ve had a huge backlog thanks to chronic illness, but I was finally able to catch up and was ready to take on new orders (especially for Halloween). I launched a big update on September 1 and opened my Etsy shop again after a long time being closed. I’ve been spending hours on editing and making new featured images for my shop. It was a much needed update and very happy how it all looks together. But it’s a lot of work, so even after adding a lot of new photos I am still not even halfway done. I am hoping to do the rest by the end of this year.
Halloween orders are full, but I still accept orders for being made later this year. You can order on either my Etsy or Ko-Fi, however I do prefer orders on my Ko-Fi!
