Properties of the modern Thordonians:

General
Clones have chosen to keep their emotions, they still engage in social activities which they value highly with the cultures and species they protect.
Clones value individuality, they chose not to think as a single individual but rather multiple working together extremely closely. Clones have the right to speak for themselves as distinct consciousnesses.
Clones share information with each other either by direct upload and download of information or high speed digital conversations.
Clones share only direct skills and knowledge, not experiences. This is to allow for more efficient acclimation to different roles while also preserving the individuality and unique personality.
Sensory links allow Thordonians to simultaneously experience each other’s environments. This function allows Thordonians to work together a lot more effectively in an active link. This also allows Thordonians to view scenarios from each other for either official study or highly immersive recreational activities. Note that sensory links only share observable information, not what the particular account’s recorder was thinking or their current mindset. Therefore sensory links does not include sharing of experience.
Thordonians are capable of operating other constructs by remote control, including ones that can hold consciousness. However, any construct that would typically be labeled as a thord or thordon with consciousness would not receive this title. Instead command reference would be directed to the construct’s operator and his class.
Modern Clones have multiple referrals.
Thord as singular or Thords as plural refers to any independently functioning construct with a consciousness not immediately designed to produce more constructs with consciousness. Thord is also used as a slang term for bipedal or more specifically homonid constructs with consciousness.
Thordon as singular or Thordons as plural refers to a construct with consciousness designed to have the capability to produce more constructs with consciousness.
Thordonian as singular or Thordonians as plural refers to an or the entire system of Thord and Thordon constructs. Also used to refer to modern Clones in general.
Note that none of these referrals are intended to produce any hierarchy or classing distribution of power, they are simply used to organize and coordinate Thordonian forces.
When a Thordonian's consciousness processor is destroyed they are considered irreversibly dead. To revive them by copying their last version of their consciousness into a new processor is exactly what it is, a copy. Such techniques are considered no different than cloning and don't bring back the "same" individual.
Thordonians reproduce by copying their own consciousness and placing it in a new separate processor. Therefore all offspring and parents start mentally the same and deviate over time as they gain new and different experiences, which allows for Thordonians to develop their own personalities.
Any Thordonian machine capable of working independently indefinitely is labeled as a construct. They do not have to have onboard consciousness. Constructs can be labeled as the whole of a system as well as all independently capable parts of it, even if they are currently working together.
