Could try and get yourself a scanner? They make ones that'll scan to a phone nowadays. And you don't necessarily have to get one with a built-in printer.

I mostly use my phone camera for traditional stuff and directly from my PC pics for digital stuff.

Should try a scanner for the traditional stuff. Details come out clearer than on camera. That's what I did for my part of that trade.

Try using pen ink to darken your lines. I recommend Pilot G2, just be careful not to smug it and give it breaks to dry regularly. They're pretty cheap, but if that's not an option, try to just darken the pencil lines to be as black as you can get before scanning, but be sure to darkened it AFTER you do your coloring.

For coloring, best I can describe it is to try and color darker or denser. Looking at your PFP, I can see you go kinda light on coloring. Try taking more time to make sure the lines in your coloring are closer together. Don't press hard or anything, but do try to make it darker to compensate for the scanner. If the color is still too washed out, darken more and attempt another scan. And cross-hatching is good for not only shading, but making your colors less washed out when you scan.
