theres a lot of good guides in the forums, but it is a small userbase, so not too much info on stuff xD
i miss old neopets T-T i tried playing a few "old style Neopets Fansites" and they were ok for a bit. Flight rising i played the heck out of, but i got bored of it T-T
And yeah SAME I tried playing the new site but it makes me miss old neopets too much and everything else has been meh to me so hoping this one will keep my interest~
I used to play Subeta a little. I'm more into Neopets and I still check into my Flight Rising account to feed my dragons daily. At least as far as Petsites go. I like to help people out with their battledome sets on Neopets. I consider myself quite the knowledgeable "budget battler". Give me a pet's stats, a budget, and a one-player opponent you want to tackle and I can usually come up with a set or a suitable amount of equipment that you should be able to beat that opponent, though maybe not at the most powerful difficulty level, that's at or under budget. Heck, my pet has over 3600hp and can't beat ALL the opponents on their medium or strongest difficulties. lol
Have you ever played Adventure Quest, Kolae? Or any other games by Artix Entertainment perhaps?
last I heard, they revamped it or something? I remember having a zard sword or something like that lol..

Of their games, I mostly play AQ3D these days, it's a 3D MMO based on the world of Lore. It's free to play, unless you want to become a Guardian of course. That's still the same, a one-time payment. Instead of Z-tokens though, they have Dragon Crystals for the premium currency. You also get a daily treasure chest to open, the first thing you get is an amount of free Dragon Crystals. 4-138 are the lowest and highest amounts I've gotten from one chest. And the daily chest has a cool down of 23 hours. So you can change the timing a bit by getting it at the 23rd hour instead of waiting a full 24 hours! You also get chests as your level your player up. The current level cap is 44. The 2nd item you get is usually a consumable, or a token item like Pet Feed or even some treasure shards. The 3rd item is cosmetic equipment that's available in the treasure shard shop. If you don't want the cosmetic gear, you can recycle it into treasure shards, (instead of the garbage can to discard it, it'll have a green shard icon to recycle it) the amount of shards you get is based on it's rarity. 20, 60, 200, 1000. Save enough shards and you can buy what you want from the Treasure Shard Shop, the most expensive stuff in the Treasure Shard Shop is 5000 shards.
There are more than a dozen trainable classes to unlock too! You unlock all skills for a class by getting it to rank level 10. That also gives you a cross skill that you can use as a different class. Though you can only use 1 cross skill at a time. But most are pretty useful!
You can play on Phones/tablets (iOS and Android), or on PC/Mac/Linux via Steam. I've been playing for several years, though these days I'm more of a casual player. There are thousands of pieces of cosmetic equipment. Gear without stats, that you can wear over your statted equipment, great if you like cosplay. I've seen Luffy from One Piece, Saitama from One-Punch-Man and many others from anime I haven't seen. There are also lots of original combinations people come up with.
They are also working on AQWorlds. Which I tried an early test, didn't really care for it, and never looked back. It's a totally different format than AQ3D, more like Dragonfable I think, in that it's 2D environments and graphics, but you can apparently interact with other players, unlike AQ or Dragonfable.
LOL Sorry for geeking out a little. ^_^; I really like how AE games are player-centric and not major money-grabs like other online games are. Anyway, if you want to play your old AQ account again, just check out the link above to artix.com and get the Games Launcher. Battle on! ^_^

Also, the main town of Battleon and the lands you can travel to have expanded crazily! They just introduced new guild functions and player houses seem to be coming in SOON. It's gonna be very interesting! :D Also, since it's October, Mogloween should make a comeback in the near future as well.
