Bowser was an early crush of mine for sure. I always thought he and koopa were the same char but I guess not.

Koopa was the version of him from the Super Mario Bros Super Show, whereas Bowser was from the games, but both where around at the same time. Ah.. I too always thought they were the same, but maybe not. <X3

There's always Character for everything, if you want the common examples many would say Krystal, Loona, Renamon, Legosi, or Nick Wilde. But to me I'll have to say wargreymon is the guy that gets everyone into furry guys or gals. For me wargreymon is what got me into my crush, [/mostly because of his feet/] as well as getting into macro art thanks to RipRoarRex.

Western animation has plenty of talking animals. The likes of Bugs Bunny, Woody Woodpecker and Mickey Mouse paved the way for the furry fandom. Nowadays, we have examples like the previously mentioned Judy, Nick, Mr. Wolf and Death.

But anime and videogames have also contributed even if certain characters are overshadowed by StarFox, Legoshi, FNAF or Night in the Woods. Animes like Samurai Pizza Cats or videogame characters like Jon Talbain or Sly Cooper were pretty popular when they came out but now they are kind of forgotten.

If you were around in the time of the 90s and 2000s furs it was dominated by The Lion King

Would be characters from Street Shark / Road Rovers. Those were the biggest furry things when I was a kid in the 90s. Two of the biggest furry shows..there were others..but noone here probably has watched C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa
